Hello my name is
Silva
and today fans of yours would really love to hear all about you, um… What do you prefer Nack or Fang?
Nack:
Heh! Well, Dearie I go by many names as you just mention. I can also go by Jet, but you can call me anything you like Dearly...--
Silva:
Okay! That’s quite enough of that! Let’s keep it kosher for the kids out there… not to mention everyone else as well! Don’t forget you wanted a spot here on this site, I’ll have to boot you out if you don’t keep it clean here.
Nack:
Oh, alright. I guess I can be a gentleman.
Silva:
Yes, thank you.Silva looks through her notebook.
Silva:
Okay, Nack what was your first appearance in the Sonic games?
Nack:
That was the Sonic Triple Trouble on the Sega Game Gear in 1994. A blooming bummer, I never did get those emeralds or that annoying hedgehog!
Silva:
Uh-huh! And that brings an interesting question. Fans would like to know: Why do you go after Sonic The Hedgehog?
Nack:
Well, it’s simple really, Dr. Eggman (Robotnik) hires me to go after him. Whoever pays me the big moo la. It’s noting personal, unless that spiky lil’ blue thing gets in my way.
Silva:
Sure. (said in incredibly tone) You were in another game called Sonic Drift 2, it was also a Sega Game Gear, but a kart racing type.
Nack:
Yep. Eh! That was kind of fun… We all win or lose. I didn’t really get a real prize winning out of it.
Silva:
Then you got into the fighting brawl deal of it in Sonic Fighters and I believe that was an arcade game in 1996 also known as Sonic Championship to some.
Nack:
Oh sure, that was an interesting battle, got to whoop on that pesky little blue blur.
Silva:
Yes, and from there, it looks like you didn’t make any major appearance in the Sonic video games at all for a long, long time.
Nack:
Heh! Yeah, that Sega is a real--
Silva quickly pulling a small sign saying Watch the Language!
Silva:
Ah! Ah!
Nack:
Um… Booger! They’re a real booger.
Silva:
Whew! Ahem! You did make very small appearances in some Sonic games like Tails Adventures in 1995 for the Game Gear as a good luck charm. Then in a non Sonic related game known as Shenmue in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast as a minor toy capsule. Then in 2011 of Sonic Generations as a wanted poster in City Escape, and once more on a wanted poster in Sonic X Shadow Generations in 2024.
Nack:
Yawn! Yeah, those little appearance were peanuts.
Silva:
Ah! Yes, but then you started making a turn around in 2017 in Sonic Mania & Mania Plus. Appearing in a boss in Mirage Saloon Zone, and for the first time your Hooligan Team members—Uh! Bean The Dynamite Duck and Bark The Polar Bear was with you too, if not mistaken.
Nack:
Heh! Heh! Yes, well, we were in it, but we were illusions by the boss character Heavy Magician.
Silva:
Even though that was a kind of mirror appearance, I’ll bet that felt good to get out there again after so very long.Nack: Yep, it sure did at that. And now I have feelin’ yer gonna bring up the next Sonic game.
Silva:
Nah! I was thinking I’m going to end it here, what you think?
Nack:
I think that you are missing at least one game with me in it, and I might a bit disappointed.
Silva:
Ha! Kidding! Of course we must bring up the awesome Sonic Superstars from 2023. Where you made a very nice modern return as a major antagonist hired by the villain Dr. Eggman to find Chaos Emeralds on the North Star Islands. Which by the way, I’ve been playing the very game and having fun with.Nack: Laughs!
Silva:
And congratulations on that as well to you!
Nack:
Well, thank you for that, Silva. Just curious, have you gone up against me yet?
Silva:
Yes, and the battle a bit toughie, but I think I am getting the mechanics of the boss though. You also appear the final boss of Uh! Trip’s story in the Sonic Superstars as well, right?
Nack:
You hit the nail on the head, Sweetheart!
Silva:
That is quite an unusual twist that they put you in a big mecha like boss almost like something out of a Power Rangers bit.
Nack:
Laughs! Yeah, it was quite crazy deal there, and I wasn’t so sure about it either, but they told me I had to do it or may not make another appearance again.
Silva:
I also want to make a mention that even though this game isn’t actual official like the other Sonic games we talked about. There is one that is a fan made called Sonic Robo Blast 2 for the PC. In that one you are playable there, I never had the fancy to have tried that one.
Nack:
Uh! Oh yeah, that one. Uh! I did play that one some. My sister Nic installed that game her PC and we played it. It’s quite fun.
Silva:
Great, I’ll have to try that one out sometime, and before I forget. I don’t suppose I could get one of those posters of you from that Sonic Generations game, maybe even signed?
Nack:
Sure, but it’ll cost ya a date. Wanna go out?
Silva:
Ugh! Never mind. While this has been fun, and I’m doing this for the lovely Sonic and or both Nack/Fang fans out there. I just don’t date dangerous trouble makers like you. Sorry, not sorry.
Nack:
Ah! Foo, well that’s too bad, you don’t know what you are missing.
Silva:
I’m sure I am not missing much, but stay tune for next time for part 2 where we will get into the Archie Comics Sonic saga side with this weasel here.
